HOW TO COOK RIBEYE STEAK IN THE AIR FRYER
Brush the ribeye steak with olive oil, until coated on both sides. Because you are brushing the steak with oil, there is no need to spray the basket.
Season the steak generously with salt and and black pepper, or your favorite seasonings. Preheat the air fryer basket to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, which only takes a few minutes. Once the basket is preheated, place the seasoned steaks in without overlapping.
Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through for medium-well doneness. If you are using thinner steaks or thicker steaks, you will need to adjust the cooking time.
After air frying, let the steaks rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to settle.
Optional:
- Top steak with a pat of garlic butter, favorite steak sauce, or your favorite steak seasoning.

How to Store and Reheat

Ingredients
- 2 rib eye steaks 16 ounces each
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
Optional Blue Cheese Butter Compound Topping
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon blue cheese crumbled
Instructions
Ribeye Steak
- Lightly coat steak with olive oil, on both sides and then add salt and pepper, or your preferred seasonings.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook at 400 degrees F, for 6-8 minutes on each side, depending on preference for doneness.
- Let steak sit for 5-10 minutes before serving and top with spoonful of prepared butter.
Optional Butter Compound Topping
- To prepare butter topping, melt butter and blue cheese in the microwave, for about 30 seconds. Stir together, and return to refrigerator while steak is cooking. Substitute 1 teaspoon roasted garlic for blue cheese to make a delicious garlic butter compound!
