It is already flattened by a meat tenderizer or meat mallet, which makes it very tender steak. This recipe makes it perfect with a coating of simple seasonings like garlic, salt, and pepper, giving each bite a ton of flavor.

EXPERT TIPS
- Use an instant read meat thermometer to avoid overcooking the steaks. Overcooking can make them tough and chewy.
- Be sure steaks don't overlap in the air fryer. This can lead to parts of the steaks not cooking evenly.
- Unless you have thick steaks, there is no need to turn steaks during the air frying process. Once they are done cooking, letting them rest for a few minutes helps them stay juicy.

STORING AND REHEATING
Once cooled, you can store leftover cube steaks in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
To reheat leftovers, place in the air fryer and air fry at 400 degrees F for 3-5 minutes, until the center of the steak is heated.
FAQ'S
Cubes steaks are already tenderized so you don't need to pound them further. Although, I do suggest pounding them if they aren't even is thickness. Doing this will help them cook evenly.
When I bought my steaks, they came in a pack of two large pieces that was about one pound of steak. I used food grade scissors and cut them in halves, making four steaks about 5 or 6 inches in length, and about ¾ inch in thickness.
