If you need to know how to reheat pizza in an air fryer, just follow these directions! In just a few minutes, you will have perfect pizza leftovers just as crispy and delicious as when you first had it delivered.
Leftover pizza reheats in just a matter of minutes! You will enjoy crispy leftover pizza cooked to perfection, just like freshly baked pizza. This also works for when your box of pizza left on the counter needs to be warmed up or if you just need 2-3 pieces of individual pieces too.
WHY THIS WORKS
Reheating leftover pizza in the air fryer makes the crust crispy, and melts the cheese just right. Unlike reheating takeout pizza in the microwave, which gives you soft and sometimes soggy pizza, air frying pizza is a game changer.
Guess what!? It does the same MAGIC with French fries and chicken wings! My favorite thing about reheating wings in the air fryer is that they always come out tasting fresh and new. Not only that but reheating burgers in the air fryer takes less than 5 minutes!
The only thing you need to air fry leftover pizza, are leftover slices of pizza!
- Pizza Slices-any cold leftover pizza slices. Our favorites for pizza night are Pizza Hut or Venezia's Pizza
Place cold pizza slices of pizza in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Reheat slices in batches if necessary.
Air fry the pizza at 380 degrees F for 3-4 minutes cooking time, until you have hot pizza with a crispy crust and melted cheese. Remove from the air fryer using tongs.
I make this recipe in my Cosori Air Fryer. (I use a basket style air fryer, but you can also use these directions with a tray air fryer by using a small baking sheet or racks.) Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cook time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

- For easy clean up, you can line the basket with parchment paper liners or spray basket with cooking spray, but we found we didn't really make that big of a mess reheating the slices.
- If reheating deep dish pizza, or thick crust pizza, you may need to add an additional minute or two to the cook time. For thin crust pizza, you probably won't need as much time.
Day-old pizza is always the best! When storing the original leftover pizza, keep it covered with aluminum foil, or in an airtight container for up to four days in the refrigerator. Don't reheat pizza slices until you are ready to eat them, as it is not recommended to reheat more than once.
When reheating pizza in air fryer, keep in mind thicker crusts or thicker pizzas, you may need to continue air frying in one minute increments. For thinner pizzas, air fryer for a shorter time. Stuffed crust pizza may also need an extra minute or two.
You can definitely add extra toppings like a little more cheese, sauce, or pepperonis.
