How to use roasted garlic
Garlic can be added to countless dishes for a family dinner during the week, neighborhood block party or dinner party. The extra flavor will make different recipes even more delicious.
Roasted garlic can be used in many kinds of dishes. Adding garlic to a yummy guacamole, making any savory sour cream or cream cheese-based dip or simply rub all over a piece of warm crusty bread to have a long side your dinner. Garlic mashed potatoes are family favorite any day of the week.
Adding roasted garlic into pasta sauces or dish as a whole will give the dish an extra burst of flavor. If you have made a homemade soup, you could quickly roast up garlic to complete the dish. Laying garlic on top of a perfectly cooked steak, baked chicken or crispy piece of fish will be something family and friends will all enjoy.

- garlic bulb
- olive oil-like Bertolli
I make this recipe in a Cosori 5.8 Quart Air Fryer. Because air fryers are different, cooking times may need to me adjusted by a minute or two.
How to make Roasted Garlic in Air Fryer

On a cutting board with a sharp knife carefully slice off the bottom part of whole head of garlic.

Place the fresh garlic head on a piece of aluminum foil.

Use a pastry brush to coat the entire bulb of garlic with olive oil or drizzle olive oil over bulb and gently roll bulb of garlic in aluminum foil to cover bulb evenly.

Next pull all edges of aluminum foil over garlic head. Sealing all exposed parts of bulb.

Air fry at 380 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, air fry until garlic softens and is golden brown.

Allow garlic to cool prior to removing individual garlic cloves. The best way to remove each clove of garlic is to gently squeeze top of bulb and they will easily slide out of garlic bulb.

If you are going to refrigerate any extra garlic, you can place it in a sandwiched sized storage bag or in a sealed airtight container for up to 3 days. If you're not going to use the garlic right away its best to freeze it and pull out of freezer as needed.
You can make garlic butter, and then use to top an air fried fully loaded baked potato or ribeye steak. You can also mix garlic into cream cheese and slathering it over a crispy, air fryer two ingredient dough bagel. Making a garlic aioli (fancy word for mayonnaise) to smear on your bread to make a yummy sandwich will be tasty.
Because garlic is a skin purifier, it can help give your skin a youthful glow. It has an enormous number of antioxidants and can help prevent various seasonal illnesses, such as colds and flus. It also contains Allicin (an organosulfur that is in garlic), which may help regulate blood pressure and lower cholesterol.
