NOTE: All air fryers cook differently. You may or may not need to adjust the time up or down a minute or two. This recipe was made using the Cosori 5.8qt air fryer and using medium-sized sweet potatoes. If you use smaller sweet potatoes, you will need to lower the amount of cook time. If you use larger sweet potatoes, you may need to increase the amount of cook time.

FAQs:

What are good toppings for baked sweet potatoes?

Sweet potatoes are almost as versatile with toppings as russet potatoes. You can top sweet potatoes with different toppings such as:

  • butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar
  • sugar, butter, cinnamon, and mini marshmallows
  • butter, chopped sugared pecans, and mini marshmallows
  • sour cream and chives

You can also make a meal out of sweet potatoes. We've made baked sweet potatoes and topped them with roast beef and with sloppy joe meat. Both are good and something you should definitely try!

40 minutes at 390 degrees will cook them much too long. Try 25 minutes and check on them. They should not shrivel.

Actually, if you're using a Cosori 5.8qt Air Fryer and you cook 3 medium/large sweet potatoes 40 minutes at 390 degrees is the perfect amount of time. We've done this at least 10 plus times and they are perfect every single time. We would also love for you to actually TRY the recipe before rating it. 🙂

You can use regular table salt, or leave it out. It's up to you! Thank you!
