How to make Air Fryer Breadsticks
These breadsticks are so easy to make, in just a few simple steps.
-
To begin, open can of refrigerated dough and roll into a rectangle shape.
-
In a small bowl, combine the seasoning with the sour cream, and stir together to combine them.
-
Spoon the mixture on top of the rectangle, and spread evenly, covering the entire surface.
-
Cut the dough into strips of twelve equal-sized pieces, then fold each strip in half, and twist each piece, pinching the ends of each breadstick.
-
As you twist each piece, they will stretch a little. Just keep them from going longer than the size of your basket or tray.
-
Place the breadsticks in air fryer basket, lined with parchment paper, or lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
-
Air fry at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, until the breadsticks are golden brown.
I make these in my Cosori 5.8 quart air fryer. Because not all air fryer are the same, exact cooking time vary, and may need to be adjusted by 2-3 minutes.
FAQ's
Not at all! These breadsticks are full of flavor on their own! Having your favorite dipping sauce on hand is just an extra option.
You can use a little bit if Italian Seasoning, or Mexican Seasoning for different flavors. Or brush them with a bit of olive oil and parmesan cheese.
Of course you can! I like to keep recipes on hand that are simple and fast, so canned pizza crust dough is an easier method.
