Serve these veggies on top of a shredded cheddar cheese baked potato or mixed into a creamy risotto. They are delicious with a perfectly cooked Air Fryer T-bone steak, crispy halibut or juicy air fried chicken thighs.
Ingredients:
- broccoli florets
- cauliflower florets
- extra virgin olive oil
- garlic powder
- kosher salt
Optional Additional Flavors: You can find several seasonings to add flavor, like McCormick's. Add a teaspoon of black pepper, fresh garlic, creole seasoning, nutritional yeast, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, minced cloves garlic, onion powder, cayenne pepper or a splash of lemon juice.
HOW TO MAKE BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER IN AIR FRYER:
- In a large bowl, add fresh broccoli and fresh cauliflower.
- Then add in olive oil, garlic powder, and salt, tossing together until vegetables are well coated.
- Spray olive oil spray into the basket to make sure vegetables get crispier edges and do not stick.
- Pour vegetables into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 380 degrees F for 8-10 minutes until the vegetables have crisp edges and are golden brown. Toss or shake the basket halfway through the cooking process.
- Serve while hot.
I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cook times may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

Allow leftovers to completely cool prior to storing. Place them in an airtight container or resealable storage bag in your refrigerator for up to 4 days. Store them in a freezer storage bag or airtight container in your freezer for up to 2 months.
Broccoli patties with black beans, chopped broccoli apple salad, or an Asian broccoli salad are very yummy, are just a few ways to use these veggies. Cauliflower rice, cauliflower gratin or cauliflower steaks with your favorite seasonings, are delicious.
Yes. However, when using frozen, be sure to let them thaw out completely and place them in a colander basket to allow some of the moisture to drain out of vegetables, otherwise, they won't be as crisp.
