I love using the air fryer to reheat the frozen waffles as the hot air circulates and cooks the inside perfectly while leaving a light and crispy outside. You only have to do a few simple steps to make the perfect waffles.
Ingredients:
- Frozen Waffles (We like Eggo homestyle and Eggo buttermilk waffles)
How to Make Frozen Waffles In The Air Fryer
Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the air fryer basket with olive oil spray if needed.
Step 2: Place the frozen waffles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Step 3: Air fry frozen waffles for 6 minutes cooking time, flipping the waffles halfway through.
Step 4: Carefully remove the waffles from the air fryer and serve with your favorite fresh berries, whipped cream, and maple syrup.
NOTE: This recipe was made with a 5.8 qt basket style Cosori Air Fryer. All air fryers cook a little differently. If using a different brand of air fryer, make sure you adjust the cooking time as needed.
TIPS
- You may need to adjust the cook time depending on the size and thickness of the waffles. This recipe is for regular sized waffles. For smaller waffles you may need to use less cook time.
- Different air fryers will also make for different times . You may need to add a minute or two, depending on your brand of air fryer.
- Make sure you place the waffles in a single, even layer so the air flow cooks the waffles evenly.
