- Package of Bacon- (thin/regular bacon)
Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the bacon slices in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer. It's ok if the bacon strips overlap a little.
Close the basket door and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes.
Check the bacon after 10 minutes for crispiness. If you would like the bacon to be crispier, add another minute or two of cook time.
Remove and transfer to a plate and blot with paper towels to soak up any excess grease before serving.
NOTE: I use a Cosori Air Fryer, and this is the perfect time and temp for this Air Fryer. All Air Fryers cook differently and have different power wattages, so you may have to adjust the time for this recipe if using brand. It's always best to consult the book that came with your brand before trying a new recipe.

Easily turn this breakfast food into small pieces of bacon making bacon bits that are perfect for topping baked potatoes, salads, or making a bacon lettuce, tomato sandwich.
Storage for leftover uncooked bacon, can be done in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for 1-3 months. Cooked bacon should be good for about four or five days in the refrigerator.
Because the smoke point of bacon fat is low, when cooking at a high temperature, it can cause smoke when cooking bacon. To cut down on the smoke, add a ½ cup of water to the basket bottom of the air fryer before cooking.
The cook time for bacon will depend on the types of bacon as well as the thickness of the bacon. Thinner bacon: I cook perfectly crispy bacon in the Air Fryer at 10-12 minutes. Thick sliced bacon: For thicker bacon, I add a few minutes and air fry between 14-15 minutes cooking time.

Air Fryer Bacon
- Air Fryer
- 10 slices bacon thinly sliced
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the bacon slices in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer. (It's ok if the bacon overlaps a little)
- Close the basket door and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes.
- Check the bacon after 10 minutes for crispiness. If you would like the bacon to be crispier, add another minute or two of cook time.
- Remove to a plate and blot with paper towels to soak up any excess grease before serving.
Notes:For Air Frying Thinly sliced bacon: I cook perfectly crispy bacon in the Air Fryer at 10-12 minutes. (Closer to 10 minutes if I am only making a few pieces, closer to 12 minutes if I am filling up the basket.) For Air Frying Thick sliced bacon: For thick-cut bacon, I add a few minutes and cook between 14-15 minutes. To Help Prevent Smoking: You can also add a piece of bread to the bottom of the basket to catch the bacon drippings, which will also reduce the smoke. If making bacon in batches, you can also easily drain the excess grease from the basket during the cooking process.
