- Use a digital meat thermometer to ensure the chicken has reached the internal temperature of 165°F/74°C.

You can also freeze the cooked chicken in a freezer bag for up to 1 month.
FAQs
The easiest way to make sure that this tandoor chicken recipe is done cooking all the way is to use a meat thermometer and insert it into the thickest part of the chicken. Once the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, the chicken is done and ready to be pulled.
You can! Boneless chicken thighs would be great. You can also use chicken drumsticks and even bone-in chicken thighs. If you are cooking chicken with bones, be very careful when eating or serving so that no one chokes on them.
Tandoori chicken can be marinated with yogurt, but with different spices, so it's very similar, just different flavors. Yogurt marinade makes the chicken so tender that is goes perfectly with just about anything. Pair it with a side salad, steamed veggies, or even a side of rice.
The one thing that you can be sure of is that this chicken recipe is fast, simple, and loaded with flavor!
