I love a good pretzel, and homemade air fryer pretzels are my favorite! In fact, we even love to make our hotdogs with pretzels, and you can find out how to make those by following the easy instructions in this air fryer pretzel dogs recipe.
These cinnamon and sugar pretzel bites take snacking on pretzels to a whole different level. It's like combining cinnamon rolls and pretzels, all into one.
They're easy, delicious, and addicting.
The best part? They're really not that hard to make! You only need to have a few staple ingredients on hand.
Ingredients
- all purpose flour
- active dry yeast
- hot water
- cinnamon
- granulated white sugar
- salt
- unsalted melted butter
- brown sugar

How to Make Air Fryer Pretzel Bites
- Add the flour, salt, cinnamon, and sugar to a large bowl and set aside.
- Let the yeast dissolve in the hot water.
- Add the water with yeast to the flour mixture and knead with your hands until fully combined.
- Cover the bowl of dough with a dry cloth and allow to sit covered for 30-45 minutes.
- Punch down the dough and then set it aside.
- Dust your work surface with flour and knead the dough lightly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the air fryer basket with a nonstick cooking spray or olive oil.
- Break the dough into eight separate pieces. Take each of the eight pieces and roll into one inch ropes. Cut the ropes into 1 ½'-2" pieces.
- Place the pretzel bites in the prepared air fryer basket in a single layer, careful to leave a little room in between each one. Cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 6-7 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Remove the pretzel bites from the air fryer and brush the tops with melted butter.
- Mix the cinnamon, sugar, and brown sugar together and dip the pretzels in the cinnamon sugar mixture before serving.
- Serve with a sugary sweet dipping sauce.
NOTE: All air fryers cook differently. This recipe was made using the Cosori 5.8. You may need to add additional time or cook or less time depending on the type of air fryer you have.

Air Fryer Pretzel Bites

- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 ½ teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups hot water
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon granulated white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
Topping
- 4 tablespoon granulated white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
Glaze for dipping (optional)
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tablespoon whole milk
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
Instructions
- Add the flour, salt, cinnamon, and sugar to a large bowl and set aside.
- Add the yeast to the hot water and let it dissolve.

- Place the pretzels in the prepared air fryer basket in a single layer, careful to leave a little room in between each one. Cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 6-7 minutes or until they are golden brown.

- Mix the cinnamon, sugar, and brown sugar together and dip the pretzels in the cinnamon sugar mixture before serving.
- Serve the glaze as a dipping sauce.
How to Make the Glaze Dipping Sauce
- Add the powdered confectioner's sugar, whole milk, vanilla, and melted butter to a medium bowl. Use a whisk and mix well and serve. (You may need to add a little milk depending on your preferred consistency.
