  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil spray

  • Place the coated green beans in the Air Fryer basket and air fry for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese or fresh lemon juice if desired and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Arrange your green beans in a single layer: Spreading your green beans out ensures even cooking through the dish.
Cooking spray: You can use olive oil cooking spray, canola oil spray, or avocado oil spray for this recipe.
Coat the green beans well: Use a bit of the breading mix when coating your green beans. The more breading you have, the crispier your green beans will be.

I made these for dinner tonight and they were absolutely delicious! I am diabetic so I am always aware of the carb count in recipes. I made a few small changes to the recipe to adjust to my dietary needs. Instead of the flour, I used 1 tbsp of corn starch to initially coat the beans. Then, I reduced the amount of panko bread crumbs and increased the amount of parmesan cheese in the final coating. I also added a little black pepper to the crumb coating. I may reduce the cook time slightly next time as I tend to like my green beans a little crunchier. I will definitely make these again!

Pretty good! I wish my green beans were a little more done, will probably blanch them first next time.
