Air fryer frozen French fries are one of the best ways to make golden, crispy, fries. You'll be fine skipping the fast food lines once you learn how to make frozen fries in the air fryer.
Why I Love These
You won't be able to tell the difference between deep fried french fries and air fryer frozen french fries with this recipe.
The air fryer helps give these frozen fries that deep-fried crispy taste that everyone will enjoy without the added calories or fats from a deep fryer.
We love this recipe because it's truly as simple as placing the fries into the basket of the air fryer, shaking a few times, and serving.
Another bonus of cooking fries in the air fryer is that they will cook more evenly than in the oven or microwave.
Air Fryer frozen French fries are the perfect easy snack for after-school, sleepovers, and game day get-togethers. Air Frying is seriously my favorite cooking method.

Frozen French Fries - my favorite air fryer frozen fries are crinkle cut, but I'm also a self-proclaimed carbaholic so I will take any type of fries in any shape, form, or fashion: including waffle fries or sweet potato fries. (Note cook times will differ with different cut fries.)
Optional Seasonings - Consider adding different flavors such as seasoned salt, Kosher salt, onion powder, garlic powder, Rosemary, or more.
How to Cook Frozen Fries in Air Fryer
Step 1
Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit/200 degrees Celcius.
Step 2
Place the frozen French fries in a single layer into the air fryer basket. Spray a light coat of oil and then season with salt if desired.
Step 3
Air fry frozen french fries at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes, shake the fries, and then cook for an additional 8-10 minutes cooking time, depending on how crispy you like your fries.
NOTE: This recipe was made using a Cosori 5.8qt air fryer. If using a different brand air fryer, you may need to adjust the cooking time by a minute or two to reach the desired doneness.
Storing and Reheating Leftovers
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
If you have leftovers or want to reheat previously cooked fries, you can quickly reheat them in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore their crispiness. Reheat fries at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 minutes, or until crispy and heated through.
Tips
Ensure that the frozen fries are spread out in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Overcrowding can result in uneven cooking and soggy fries.
To prevent the fries from sticking to the air fryer basket, you can lightly coat the basket with cooking spray or brush it with a thin layer of oil before adding the fries.
To promote even cooking and browning, shake or toss the fries halfway through the cooking time. This helps to ensure that all sides of the fries are exposed to the hot air in the air fryer.
For the best taste and texture, serve the fries immediately after cooking. Air-fried fries tend to lose their crispiness if left sitting for too long.
