How to Toast a Bagel in an Air Fryer

  1. To make the perfect air fryer toasted bagel, being by slicing 2 standard-sized sliced bagels in half and place into the air fryer basket, in a single layer, cut side up.

  2. Air fry at 380 degrees for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Depending on the crispness you prefer, use 2-3 minutes for lightly crispy, and 3-4 minutes for darker crisp.

  3. Top with your favorite toppings such as cream cheese or a bit of butter.

I make this recipe in my 5.8 quart Cosori basket style air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cooking time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

Bagels for Lunch or Dinner

Make air fryer bagel pizzas by topping bagel slices with marinara sauce and shredded cheese, or your favorite pizza toppings. Make a heartier meal by filling the slices of bread with your favorite deli meats and cheeses.

    Hi
    I printed off your AF cooking chart but the temperatures are double what we use here in the Uk – presume you are in America and am I correct in thinking I just half your temperatures

      We are in American. We don’t half them exactly- but the conversion has to be rounded up or down to oven temps. For example, 350 degrees F is 176.66 C so we round down to 175 C when writing the recipe. Hope that helps!
