We eat a lot of eggs in our family. I swear that every time I go to the store, I buy two containers of large eggs to keep in our fridge. I've never met an eggs recipe that I didn't like either.

From sunny side eggs to hard boiled eggs, I'll eat them all without issue. But I will say that fluffy scrambled eggs is at the top of my list of favorite air fryer recipes. The egg mixture seriously makes the perfect scrambled eggs in a fraction of the time.

No matter if you're a fan of egg yolks or just the egg whites, there's no denying that cooking eggs in the air fryer beats the stovetop method hands down time and time again. When I'm craving an egg breakfast, this is my easy method of choice. Easy eggs and a cup of hot coffee in the morning? Yes, please!

Fair warning to you though...Once everyone in the house catches wind of this delicious breakfast, they're going to come running for bites of your egg recipes! You might as well just plan on making even more to share with all the kids.

Variations

Eggs are really quite fun to play around with and add different tastes and flavors. I'm always amazed at how I can cook up a batch of eggs and make every serving taste unique.

Add fresh herbs - The easiest way to make eggs taste super fresh is to add some fresh herbs to them. (This is especially fun if you grow your own herbs from your garden!) Fresh cilantro is one of my favorite toppings for eggs and it adds a nice pop of color, too.

Make spicy eggs - Do you love extra heat? I hear ya - I do, too! Add some hot sauce to your serving size to make this easy recipe a spicy one. Just be sure that you're adding the heat to your own bowl so that it doesn't make the entire dish hot!

Cheese please - Adding some cheese to the top portion of the eggs is always a good idea. I love eggs and cheddar cheese!

Make an omelet - Making an easy air fryer omelet should totally be a thing. Sprinkle spinach, shredded cheese, and even some delicious bacon to create a meal that will even fill up teenage boys!

Try your hand at egg bites - Low carb air fryer egg bites are a huge hit in our house. If you have a muffin tin or pan, this could be a great recipe to make muffins out of eggs that you can pick up and walk around enjoying. I love having breakfast on-the-go options for the kids and myself.

FAQS

What food pairs well with eggs?

I think that adding an easy air fryer bacon recipe would be super delicious! You can also pair it will fresh fruit as a well for a complete meal. Air fryer potatoes are super yummy, too!

Will the eggs stick to the inside of the pan?

I use a medium bowl for this recipe and I'll either add a little bit of olive oil or coconut oil on the inside of the bowl so that it helps the eggs not stick.

Can I add butter to this egg recipe?

If you want to add butter you can! You can add in a teaspoon of butter to the egg mixture to help it have a little bit richer flavor. You can also use a buttered pan or bowl for that flavor, too.

How do you store leftover eggs?

If you have eggs leftover, just let them cool down and put them in a container with a lid. They'll stay fresh for up to 2 days, and you can then reheat and enjoy again!

You're going to have so much fun making this easy scrambled egg recipe. Make sure you stock up on whole eggs at the store and have a small baking dish ready to go.

Easy Scrambled Eggs in the Air Fryer

The hot air does a great job during the cooking process of making light and fluffy eggs. I also recommend using a wooden spoon to scoop out and serve the eggs as it won't scratch the bowl or pan that you're using.

Finally, have some toppings set out for everyone to use on their eggs! This is a great way to let everyone make their own flavors and taste in a separate bowl that they can love and enjoy.

Who knows - you just might find out that you like eggs and cheese way more than you ever knew you did! Have fun and let the air fryer do all the "hard" work and cooking for you!

Hi Joni, you can use the same bowls and dishes you use in a traditional oven. We use cake pans, Pyrex, etc. Hope that helps!
