Ingredients:

  • Rolled oats-like Quaker Oats
  • Almonds
  • Coconut or vegetable oil
  • Honey
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Vanilla

  2. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper, and pour granola over the lining.

  3. Air fry at 300 degrees F for 15-18 minutes, stirring 2-3 times during the air frying process.

  4. Transfer to a bowl or spread out on parchment paper and allow the granola to cool. It will harden a bit as it cools, so it breaks into small clumps.

  5. After air frying and the granola cools, add optional Mix-ins! Pick your favorites, like berries, or dried fruits.

I make this recipe in my Cosori Air Fryer.  Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cooking time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

Variations

Have fun with the flavor – The fun part about making your own granola is that you can change it up. While there are a lot of suggestions listed above, here are some more! Adding coconut flakes is a great way to add sweetness to the dish. You can also change up the dry fruits that you add or even add this to the top of your favorite yogurt.

How to Serve

Topping the granola mixture with some maple syrup or honey is a fun way to give the dry ingredients a pop of sweet flavor. I’m also a fan of making toast with peanut butter (or almond butter) and then adding some of this golden brown granola right on top!

You can also serve this with our air fryer oatmeal and air fryer toast

How to Store

Storing this air-fried granola the correct way is important. Once the granola has cooled, store the mixture in an airtight container. You can keep it at room temperature. I also store this simple granola recipe in portions which makes it simple to grab and go.

FAQs

Do I need to reheat this simple homemade granola before eating it?

The great flavors stay, even when eaten cool. Since I typically store mine in a glass jar, I just grab a handful or scoop some out with a wooden spoon and enjoy. This easy granola recipe is perfect for a snack, too.

How long does it take granola to cool?

It just takes a few minutes. The fastest way to help it cool quicker is to spread it into an even layer on a baking sheet. This will let the heat escape faster, which means you’ll be snacking sooner.

You can also eat this warm, which is super yummy to eat with ice cream. Just be careful to let it cool some so that it doesn’t burn your mouth.
