This yummy air fryer cream cheese puff pastry is one of my favorite desserts to make in the air fryer. Made with just a few simple ingredients!

I love making quick and easy desserts with puff pastry. I like to keep it on hand in the freezer for days when I feel like making a quick and delicious dessert.

Ingredients Needed:

  • puff pastry
  • cream cheese
  • butter (melted)
  • honey

How to Make Cream Cheese Puff Pastries in the Air Fryer

  1. Remove the puff pastry and from the freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for 30 minutes. Melt the butter.

  2. Cut the puff pastry and cream cheese into equal-sized squares.

  3. Place the cream cheese into the center of the puff pastry squares.

  4. Fold the corner over to the opposite corner to create a triangle with the pastry. Pinch the edges with a fork. Repeat for all of the squares.

  5. Place the cream cheese puff pastries into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Brush the pastries with the melted butter.

  6. Air fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.

  7. Carefully remove from the air fryer and serve with honey.

FAQs

Can I add anything to my cream cheese pastries?

Yes! Consider adding fresh fruit, fruit preservatives, or even something simple like cinnamon to the cream cheese to change up the flavors.

How long does it take to make a cream cheese puff pastry in the air fryer?

I use a Cosori air fryer, and they generally take 10 minutes of cooking time at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

How many puff pastries can I make out of 1 sheet of puff pastry?

If I cut the squares equally in one sheet, I can make nine of the cream cheese puff pastries.

What toppings can I use for the cream cheese puff pastries?

I love to top my cream cheese pastries with honey, but you can also use powdered sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon, or even a sugary glaze.

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients 

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 3 Tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tablespoons honey, for topping

Instructions 

  • Remove the puff pastry and from the freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for 30 minutes. Melt the butter.

Notes

Using one sheet of puff pastry will yield 9 cream cheese puffs. 
Consider using other toppings such as a sugared glaze or melted Nutella to top the cream cheese puffs. 
These cheese puffs are best eaten right after cooking.
