Tips for Best Results
- Parchment Paper: Laying a piece of parchment paper in the Air Fryer makes cleaning up super easy. After cooking, all you have to do is remove the parchment paper from the Air Fryer! There's no greasy residue left, making cleaning up super quick and painless!
- Seasonings and Flavors: Since this recipe is super simple, you can add whatever kind of seasonings or flavors you like! For example, you can add Old Bay Seasoning, hot sauce, onion powder, and cajun seasoning!
- Air Fryer Catfish Nuggets: If you want to get super fancy, you can cut up the Air Fryer catfish fillets into cubes before air frying them. Then, flip in the middle of the cooking time to thoroughly cook the nuggets. Making catfish nuggets is a great way to incorporate fish into your kids' diets if they aren't fans of fish.
- Crunchy Crust: To ensure your fish has a crunchy crust, make sure you tap some of the excess breading off, so the fish isn't too bready. In addition, Use spray oil instead of olive oil, so the fish isn't too soggy.
- Breading: If you want a thicker bread coating on your fish fillets, you can use an egg wash to make the Fish Fry Breading stick onto the fillets. You can also forgo the Fish Fry Breading and use an egg wash and flour mixture instead. You will end up with a crispy, juicy fish either way!
