  • butter
  • brown sugar

HOW TO MAKE BLOOMIN APPLES:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla, then set aside.melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a clear glass bowl

  2. Place apples on a cutting board. Using a small sharp knife, carefully cut the top of each apple off and then scoop out the center of each apple to remove the core and seeds. Leaving a bit of room at the bottom of each apple. Do not cut all the way through.

  3. Make two round cuts in apple center with a paring knife.

  4. Then turn the apple upside down. Cut downward starting about a 1/4 inch from the base of the apple to create 6-8 slices of apple. Flip over and it will look like a flower blooming.

  5. Fill the center of the apple with caramel bites, then use a spoon or pastry brush to coat the outside of apples and inside of each separate petal with the mixture of sugar and butter.

  6. Spray air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and place apples inside at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Keep a close watch on apples during cooking time so they turn out softened to your preference.

  7. Best when served warm or immediately if possible.
