Recipe Tips & Tricks
- Remember to allow the tart to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
- I made this Air Fryer apple tart using my 1700 watt 5.8 quart Cosori Air Fryer. If you’re using a different Air Fryer brand, you may need to adjust the cooking time slightly.
- For extra flavor, top the apples with a generous sprinkle of some homemade cinnamon sugar during the final 3-5 minutes of cooking time.
- You can also assemble the apple tart up to a day in advance, cover it up and refrigerate it until you’re ready to air fry it. Just make sure you add a few extra minutes of cooking time if you’re doing this.
Recipe FAQs
I am a huge fan of Granny Smith apples, but you can also use your favorites, such as Golden Delicious or even Jonagold apples.
I used a 7″ tart pan for this recipe, and I was able to make a complete tart with just 2 apples. If you are using a larger tart pan, you may want to slice an additional apple.
I wouldn’t recommend it. Packaged apple pie filling tends to be slightly more liquid-y, and using it can make the tart crust soggy.
Transfer any leftovers that you may have to an airtight container and refrigerate for 3-4 days. You can then reheat it in the Air Fryer until it is nice and warm.
