HOW SHOULD I PREPARE THE BASKET?

If using a basket air fryer, I typically don’t have to coat my Cosori with anything because of the nonstick coating. However, if you need to use something to prevent sticking, you can use an olive oil cooking spray or even a place a piece of parchment paper under the nuggets for easy clean up.

TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST DINO NUGGETS IN THE AIR FRYER:

  • When making frozen foods such as chicken nuggets, it’s best to keep them in a single layer and allow the hot air to circulate to evenly cook the nuggets. This will give the nuggets that perfect crispiness and juicy flavor. Air frying is faster than the oven and healthier than deep frying.
  • storing leftovers. when your eyeballs are bigger than your belly and you have leftover dino nuggets, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • reheating. to reheat refrigerated dino nuggets, place them in a single layer in the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 minutes, or until heated through.

I love to serve these yummy dino buddies with carrots and celery. If your little ones aren’t a fan of those veggies, you can also serve them with french fries or even sweet potato frieswaffle fries, or mac and cheese to make a complete meal.

What dipping sauces can I serve with these?

How do I make homemade chicken nuggets?

Frozen foods will have added artificial ingredients. If you’re looking for a healthier option with real chicken, you’ll need a boneless skinless chicken breast, flour, panko breadcrumbs, favorite seasonings, and eggs. Cut the chicken into small pieces, dredge in flour, then eggs, then seasoned panko. Air fry chicken nuggets at 400 degrees F /200 degrees C for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Optional: You can make larger pieces of cut chicken and use a cookie cutter to make the dinosaur shapes.
