Making carrots in the Air Fryer

I love carrots as a side dish for meals because everyone in my family likes them. And honey glazed carrots are a nice addition to dinners because they are so delicious, without being too sweet.

Carrots are an amazing and versatile vegetable. Besides cooking them in the air fryer, you can eat them raw, or with dips. They also can be kept on hand for a couple of weeks, or frozen. But you will love them with this glaze.

Baby Carrots are SO easy to make in the air fryer. The nice thing about these carrots is that they are done cooking in just about ten minutes. So even if you make them last minute, they will be ready in time for dinner.

How to make Baby Carrots in the Air Fryer

Before you start making them, you will want to lightly brush your air fryer basket with a little bit of Pompeian olive oil. I like to do this because with the honey mixture, it can be a little sticky.

Once the basket is prepared, grab a medium bowl, and stir together the honey, brown sugar, and seasonings. Toss in the carrots until they are coated, and then cook them at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes. That’s it!

FAQ’s About Honey Glazed Carrots

Do I have to use baby carrots to make this recipe?

Not at all. You can use sliced carrots, or carrot sticks. I prefer the baby carrots because they are less prep and are already cut and the perfect bite size. Just remember to adjust the cooking time for thinner carrots.

Do I have to spray or oil the basket first?

I strongly suggest you lightly brush the basket with olive oil before place the carrots in the basket. The honey is just a little sticky, and it makes it so much easier to remove them, and clean the basket.
