Tips

Storage and Reheating

  • Allow casserole to completely cool prior to storing. Place chicken in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 4 days. If freezing, place leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 months.
  • Reheat chicken casserole in a silicone dish in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through and it’s reached an internal temperature of 165° Fahrenheit/74° Celcius.

FAQ’s

What other vegetables go well with this casserole?

Any green vegetables or fresh veggies, such as green beans, cauliflower, carrots, asparagus and mushrooms are a few that come to mind. For extra depth of flavor and texture add in grilled peppers and onions or diced poblano or jalapeño peppers for some heat.

What sides go well with casseroles?

Because this casserole is really a complete meal, you don’t need to add sides. However, if you want to add sides like Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes, or Air Fryer Dinner Rolls, you can!
