Ingredients:
- Pork chops- 4-6 chops
- Egg whites
- Breadcrumbs, Italian seasoned
- Italian seasoning
- Ground black pepper
- Olive oil spray
How to make Pork Chops in Air Fryer
- Use shallow bowls to create a dredging station by adding egg whites into one shallow bowl and making a breadcrumb mixture with Italian seasoning and ground black pepper into the other shallow bowl. Set both bowls aside.
- Pat pork chops dry with paper towels on a cutting board or baking sheet.
- Dip each pork chop into the egg whites and the breading mixture until each piece is fully coated.
- Place the breaded pork chops on a baking sheet or clean plate until all pieces have been breaded.
- Prepare the air fryer basket with air fryer-safe cooking spray, then place the pork chops in a single layer to allow room for the air to circulate and even cook.
- Very lightly spray the tops of the pork chops with olive oil spray. Air fry at 380 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, flipping and spraying cutlets with cooking spray again halfway through the cooking process for maximum crispiness.
- Check the internal temperature of pork with a meat thermometer. The temperature should be 145 degrees F.
- Remove from the basket when they are cooked through and golden brown. Place them on a wire rack to remain crispy.
Pro Tip
Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the pork chops and the wattage of the air fryer. For the first time making this recipe, start at 8 minutes air frying time and add 2 minutes at a time as necessary, until golden brown and an internal temperature of 145 degrees is reached.
If your pork chops are of different thicknesses, wrap them in plastic wrap and use a meat tenderizer to thin the chops to matching thickness.
How to serve
This pork chop recipe is versatile in how it can be served! I think that roasted sweet potatoes or brown sugar-roasted carrots sound like a great thing to add to the plate! Literally, almost any side will pair well with these juicy boneless pork chops.
FAQs
If you want to get the pork chops crispy the next time you eat them, add them back to the air fryer for the best results. With a little bit of hot air, you'll have that outer crispy crust tasting just like it was cooked fresh.
Yes, you do. It's a good idea to have a meat thermometer handy so that you can be aware when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. This shows that the pork is cooked all the way through and ready to eat.

Variations
Change the seasonings - You can easily add garlic powder, onion powder, or even some cayenne pepper to these pork chops to change the flavor. Use a different crust - I love using Italian breadcrumbs, but this amazing air fryer recipe would work well with panko breadcrumbs as well.Nutrition
