BLUEBERRY CRISP IN THE AIR FRYER
This fruit crisp is one of our families' favorite recipes and is a go-to potluck or at home treat all year long. Everyone who tastes them will swear you purchased these at a local bakery.
With warm days and juicy blueberries being in season you can whip up this dish at a moment's notice. Ingredients:
- Blueberries- fresh or frozen
- granulated sugar
- vanilla extract
- cornstarch
Topping:
- unsalted butter, melted
- brown sugar, packed
- old fashioned oats- like Quaker Oats
- all-purpose flour
BLUEBERRY CRISP IN AIR FRYER:

Pour blueberries into a strainer and rinse them and then pat dry.

Transfer blueberries into a medium bowl. Cover blueberries with sugar, vanilla, and cornstarch, tossing berries until well coated.

Use nonstick cooking spray on the inside of each individual ramekin. Then evenly spoon blueberry mixture into each ramekin. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, oats and flour, until evenly combined.

Spoon oat topping into clumps over the blueberries in each ramekin.

Place ramekins in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 300 degrees F for 8-10 minutes until the oat mixture is golden brown.

Let sit for about 3-5 minutes, allowing the filling to cool and set.
I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer size and wattages, cook time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

Some more common ways to use this fruit are blueberry scones or blueberry muffin bites, or make a jam to fill these pop-tarts.
Leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 2-4 days. They can be stored the same way in your freezer for 2-3 months.
This dish can be made ahead of time. You can prepare and assemble the blueberry crisp up to a day in advance. Make sure to cover completely with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator until ready to cook.
A few different things that can be used for a topping are pie crust with spices, biscuit-style topping that will be really crumbly. Also, you can use various chopped nuts or granola to top this yummy crisp.
