FAQ’s

What can I serve with this dish?

Almost anything will be delicious to serve with this dish. Lemon pepper chicken thighs or a high-end gourmet burger will pair really well with these fries. A couple of others are grilled mahi mahi or a super juicy filet mignon topped with blue cheese.

Can I use a different kind of potato to make this dish?

Yes, there other types of potatoes to make this dish. You can use red potatoes, white potatoes or Yukon gold potatoes but they may not come out as crispy because they have a lower starch content. Baking potatoes (russet potatoes) have excess starch so they will make these parmesan truffle fries extra crispy.

How to store leftovers?

Allow leftover truffle fries to fully cool prior to storing them. Place them in an airtight container or resealable storage bag in your refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you are planning on freezing them place them in a freezer safe container of freezer storage bag for up to 6 months.

What are truffles?

Truffles are found underground in heavily wooded areas usually near the roots or base of trees. They have a robust flavor, smell and are a type of mushroom from the fungi family. They are considered a culinary delicacy and are very pricey because they require a lot of effort to find and uproot them.
