You can find different brands of cinnamon rolls, or even make these using a homemade cinnamon rolls recipe. I find this dish is best when it’s quick and easy and prefer to use a premade can.

How to Make Cinnamon Roll Bites in the Air Fryer

  1. Open the canned cinnamon rolls, remove the icing to a small bowl, and set it aside.

  2. Use a knife to cut the cinnamon rolls into equal pieces. Take each piece of cinnamon roll and hand roll it until they are small round dough balls.

  3. Place the cinnamon roll bites in a single layer into the prepared basket of the air fryer.

  4. Air fry cinnamon rolls at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes or until golden brown, flipping the bites halfway through.

  5. Carefully remove the cinnamon roll bites from the air fryer basket and serve with the icing as a dipping sauce.

  6. For extra sweet treats, brush the cooked cinnamon rolls in melted butter and then roll them in cinnamon sugar before serving. I personally think these are perfect just the way they are, but if you’re looking for additional sweetness, this is perfect!

NOTE: I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer or 6.8 quart air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cooking time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

FAQs

How do I prepare my air fryer basket for cinnamon rolls bites?

I typically use a nonstick spray for my basket, but you can also use parchment paper to help with cleanup and to keep the cinnamon roll bites from sticking to the bottom of the basket.

How do I store leftover cinnamon roll bites?

Store remaining bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add the cinnamon bites back to the air fryer and reheat at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 1-2 minutes, or until they are heated through.

How do I make additional icing?

I always use the original icing, but sometimes that runs out quickly. To make additional icing, use a cup of powdered sugar with 1-2 Tablespoons of milk, or until the icing has reached your preferred desired thickness.

I let my 8 year old daughter make this while I supervised. This is a fun recipe to get the kids involved. We had fun and they tasted really good. Instead of dipping them in the icing, I warmed it up in the microwave and mixed it in a bowl with the balls. I highly recommend doing it that way.
