Air Fryer Chex Mix is the perfect savory snack, done in minutes! This recipe makes a great party mix and will quickly become a favorite snack at all family gatherings.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS AIR FRYER CHEX MIX

You will love this recipe because it is so easy! It also satisfies snack cravings. It's perfect for serving in a giant bowl on game day, or for a movie marathon or family game night.

This is also the perfect treat for a school snack or a children's sporting event. You can make these into perfect portion sizes to hand out at a kid's party for snacks on the go.

Ingredients:

  • Rice Chex
  • Corn Chex
  • Honey Nut Chex
  • mixed nuts-like Planter's Mixed Nuts
  • mini pretzels
  • unsalted butter (melted)
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic powder

Directions: 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cereals, mixed nuts, and pretzels. Set bowl aside.Chex mix in a clear glass bowl before being mixed with seasonings and sauce

  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.seasonings and sauces mixed in a clear glass bowl before adding to chex mix

  3. Pour the butter mixture over cereal mix. Toss all of the ingredients together, completely coating the cereal mixture. Clear glass bowl with chex cereals mixed together

  4. Pour the Chex Mix in a single layer into the air fryer basket. It will take 2-3 batches to complete this recipe.Air fryer chex mix being added to the basket before being cooked

  5. Air Fry at 250 degrees F for 10 minutes, shaking the basket or stirring the mixture, halfway through the cooking time.

  6. Once it is done, lay it out on a baking tray or baking sheet to completely and evenly cool. Cooked chex mix on a cooling rack after being cooked in the air fryer.

  7. Add a pinch of salt if desired.

I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer size and wattages, cook time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

FAQ's

Can I make this recipe gluten free?

To make this gluten free, remove the wheat Chex mix and adding in more nuts and gluten free pretzels.

How do I store leftover mix?

Leftovers can be stored in an air tight container or a resealable storage bag for up to a week in your pantry or on your kitchen counter. If freezing this mixture place in an airtight container or freezer storage bag for up to 3 months.

What other ingredients can be added to a Chex mix?

You can add in garlic bagel chips, goldfish crackers, bite size pretzel twists, rye chips, cheese crackers, or corn chips. For a sweet treat, try our Air Fryer Halloween Chex Mix. For sweet variety, add in any of your favorite bite size candies, banana chips, candied pecans, or fruity cereal flavors.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rice Chex Cereal

  • 6 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Optional Flavorings: Fbrown sugar, Italian seasoning, pumpkin pie spice mix, pinch of cayenne pepper, buttery sauce mixture, dry ranch seasoning packet, red pepper flakes or cinnamon sugar.
Optional Toppings: drizzle of caramel sauce, squeeze of lemon juice for some zip, gooey chocolate sauce or a dash of hot sauce for a little something extra.
Cooking Tips: To speed up the cooling process, place the mix in the refrigerator for about 12-16 minutes.
