TIPS

  • Cool it Down: To speed up the cooling process, place the mix in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Change the Flavors: Change the flavors of your Chex mix by simply switching up the seasonings. For a sweeter mix, sprinkle in brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, or cinnamon sugar. If you are looking for a more savory mix, add in Italian seasoning, onion powder, chili powder, or a dry ranch seasoning packet.
  • Heat it Up: To make this a warm and cozy snack, serve it while it is still slightly warm. If eating later, just place it in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 30-60 seconds.

VARIATIONS FOR CHEX MIX

  • Change the Snack Mix: You can add in bagel chips, goldfish crackers, bite size pretzel twists, cheese crackers, or oyster crackers. To add more sweets variety, mix in any of your favorite bite size candies, banana chipscandied pecans, or fruity cereal flavors.
  • Optional Toppings: Drizzle caramel sauce, butterscotch, or even gooey chocolate sauce for a little something extra.
