- Cream cheese - Make sure it's at room temperature prior to using.
- Marshmallow cream - Adds sweetness and creamy texture.
- Granulated sugar - Divide it, as you'll use it in various steps.
- Vanilla extract - Excellent for most desserts!
- Strawberries - Clean and chop them up!
- Flour tortillas - Makes the perfect soft and chewy texture.
- Cinnamon - For the topping.
How to make Air Fryer Strawberry Cheesecake Chimichangas
- In a small mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, marshmallow cream, ¼ cup sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Fold the chopped strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
- Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Scoop 2 tablespoons of filling on one side.
- Fold over the edge,and then fold in the sides of the tortilla.
- Carefully roll up the tortilla without allowing filling to come out.
- Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Add the chimichangas in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray the tops of the chimichangas.
- Air fry the chimichangas for 3 minutes at 400° Fahnreheit/200 Celcius, flip, and then add an additional 2 minutes of cooking time.
- Combine ½ cup sugar and cinnamon together in a small rimmed dish.
- Remove the chimichangas from the air fryer and carefully roll the chimichangas in the cinnamon sugar mixture before serving.
