Use panko bread crumbs - You can coat shrimp with the panko crumbs and create crispy shrimp! What a fun way to air fry shrimp to get a whole new flavor.
Additional toppings- top with black beans or refried beans, different types of cheeses, or seasonings to make each taco night unique.
STORING AND REHEATING
Leftover shrimp just means that you'll get to eat this recipe again. Just let the ingredients cool down all the way and then store them in an air-tight container.
When it's time to reheat, you can add it back to the air fryer or reheat it in the microwave. Just be sure that you don't overheat, or you'll end up with overcooked shrimp.
FAQs
If you want to have a crispy tortilla, you can actually get a taco mold for your air fryer or make one using aluminum foil. Brush both sides of the tortilla with oil, and then air fryer for a short time. The heat will crisp it up into the desired taco shape giving you a crispy taco to eat!
You need to look at the coloring of the shrimp. With a short cooking time, it's important to verify that the air-fried shrimp is cooked all the way before eating. Cooked shrimp should be opaque with a little bit of light pink and red. There should be no gray coloring to it at all.
It's a good idea to rinse off the shrimp before cooking it so that you get rid of anything that might be on it. It's also a way to help them get to room temperature a little bit quicker if they're frozen.

Top Tips
One of the easiest ways to make this simple shrimp taco recipe unique is to have a different taco topping bar every time! All new toppings give all new taste and flavor. If you want to go simple, you can use some low sodium taco seasoning to create perfect shrimp. You can find it at your local grocery store, and it's a great way to season food fast. Recipe calls for 6 tortillas, but it indicates four servings. How do you divide six tortillas into six servings? Just wondering about calorie counts per serving. Also, the recipe ingredients for the sauce says mayonnaise, but the instructions say sour cream.
Rebecca
Thanks Melodie. It is 6 servings, I updated that. And the sour cream is a variation- you can swap that for the mayo or even Greek Yogurt.
