It is a great grab and go snack for you and your kids when running out the door to pick them up from school. With just a handful of simple ingredients, this dish is ready to eat in no time.

Taco night any way it is prepared is always a family friendly dinner in our household. This is a fantastic dish to make on a crisp fall evening weeknight dinner to curl up next to a roaring fire.

Because this beautiful golden circle of dough is filled with favorite taco toppings, it is will easily become a family favorite. It is great to bring as a potluck offering, a special game day appetizer or a fun family game night treat.

Ingredients:

Optional Add Ins: Diced onion and jalapeños.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER TACO RING:

  1. In a medium skillet, cook ground beef on medium to high heat until meat is completely browned.

  2. Once cooked, remove from heat and drain excess grease out of the skillet. Add water and taco seasoning, stirring to coat meat. Add any additional taco ring mix-ins, such as jalapeños or onions.

  3. Line the air fryer basket with a piece of parchment paper.

  4. Open the can of crescent rolls, separate each roll and then lay out rolls on the parchment paper, so they are slightly overlapping at larger ends of the triangles to form a round sun shape.

  5. Evenly spoon the ground beef around the center of the crescent roll circle.

  6. Then top beef with cheese, along with optional fillings such as onions or jalapenos.

  7. Next lift the tops of each crescent roll over the beef mixture, and tuck under the circle, so it is sealed, and mixture will not come out.

  8. Air fry at 350 degrees F for 6-8 minutes until dough has completed the cooking process and is golden brown.

  9. Carefully lift the taco ring out of the basket and serve individual taco crescents while hot.

I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer size, and wattages cook time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

How do I store leftovers?

Let taco ring completely cool prior to storing. If you are refrigerating store in an airtight container or resealable storage bag for 3-4 days. Freeze storing the taco ring in a storage freezer bag or an airtight container for up to 2 months.

Optional Favorite Dipping Sauce: Hot sauce, bit of nacho cheese, garlic aioli, sour cream, guacamole or salsa Verde.
Substitutions: Monterey jack, ground chicken, a cheese stick, Mexican cheese, ground turkey or cream cheese.

    Was easy to put together. And tasted great. Unfortunately the bottom of the crescent rolls were not cooked all the way, but the top was very golden brown. Any suggestions on how to get the bottom of rolled cooked all the way. I did the 8 minutes. Thanks.
