EASY AIR FRYER PEPPERONI CHIPS RECIPE

This recipe is super easy and fast. In less than five minutes, you’ll have perfectly crispy chips to snack on or grab them on the go.

I enjoy serving these as a fun treat with my favorite dipping sauces. And they you can easily switch up the toppings or seasonings, making them an instant favorite, even for picky eaters!

INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE PEPPERONI CHIPS

  • Pepperoni Slices – Use any kind of pepperoni such as turkey, spicy, thick or thin slices.

HOW TO MAKE PEPPERONI CHIPS IN THE AIR FRYER

STEP 1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F. 

STEP 2. Place the pepperoni slices in the air fryer basket, keeping them in a single layer without stacking or overlapping.

STEP 3. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 3-5 minutes, until they are crispy. 

STEP 4. Remove the chips and place them in between layers of paper towels to soak up any excess grease.

STEP 5. Once chips have cooled slightly, they will be firm up. Enjoy as chips, or serve with a dipping sauce.

TIPS

Watch Closely: Be sure to check on your pepperoni as it air fries. The slices can burn quickly so keep an eye on it as it’s cooking. 

Serve with Dipping Sauces: These chips are delicious when dipped into sauces like pizza or marinara sauce, ranch dressing, guacamole, or even with melted nacho cheese sauce.

PEPPERONI CHIPS VARIATIONS

Additional Seasonings: Sprinkle your pepperoni with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, or other seasonings for extra flavoring.  

Try Different Pepperoni: Use turkey, Italian seasoned, or spicy pepperoni for chip variety. 

Toppings: Sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese on top of the chips for extra flavor.

How do I store leftover pepperoni chips?

Store any leftover pepperoni chips in an airtight container. They should stay crunchy for a few days.

Do I need to spray the basket before making these pepperoni crisps?

There is no need to use non-stick spray on your basket. The natural oils from the pepperoni will prevent them from sticking.
