What are Cadbury Eggs?

Cadbury Creme Eggs are decadent chocolate egg-shaped treats, filled with creamy fondant-like filling that visually replicates the inside of an egg. These popular chocolate-coated eggs are a very special  treat that we look forward to every spring.

When we had a few extra chocolate eggs on hand, we had to try air-frying them! We were not disappointed! You will love this recipe because you get the deliciousness of a Cadbury egg, wrapped in a flaky and buttery outer layer of a crescent roll.

Ingredients

To make these fried eggs, ingredients you will need:

Ingredients needed to make fried cadbury eggs. Eggs on a pink plate and can of crescent rolls with air fryer basket.
  •  Cadbury Creme Eggs– or other Chocolate Creme Eggs
  •  Crescents Biscuits– like Pillsbury

Because the biscuits have eight in each can, I grabbed enough Cadbury eggs to use the entire can. If you only want to make four, you can air fry the remaining pieces into crescent rolls.

FAQs

What are fun ways to serve these Fried Cadbury Eggs?

You can serve these classic holiday candy eggs with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. You can also use your favorite sauce, like hot fudge or caramel sauce. Melting chocolates that are pink, blue, or other pastel colors, and drizzling on top of each egg, is a fun way to add spring colors to the finished crust. Or, to keep it easy, you can serve plain or with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar before serving.

How to store Air Fryer Fried Cadbury Eggs

These eggs are the BEST when they first come out of the air fryer and are nice and warm. Because they only take 6 minutes to make, you can make 4 at a time and wrap and chill remaining dough until you are ready to make more. Store uncooked dough for no longer than a few days. If you have leftover fried Cadbury eggs, keep them covered, and store at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
