FAQs

What would you pair this with?

If you want to turn this into bacon avocado fries, it turns into a really fun meal! You can pair them with chicken tenders, ground beef, or even this air fryer whole chicken and have this as a fun side.

If you have leftovers or want to try something unique and different, you can easily use this to make a tasty avocado BLT salad as well. The options are endless when you have a recipe like this with such a short cooking time needed.

What type of bacon slices work best?

For these bacon-wrapped avocados, I love using regular or thick slices of bacon. That way, the piece of bacon stays on the avocado and is thick enough that it holds texture and flavor easily. Thin strips of bacon will work, too, and you can use smaller slices as well.

Can I eat this to help with weight loss?

It’s not only an easy recipe, but it’s loaded with protein, and since avocado is considered a super food, it’s got a ton of great nutrients as well.

If you are on a low-carb diet, this is a great way to get something flavorful and delicious without feeling like you are having to give up anything. It’s not only fast, but it’s also really versatile in how you can serve. This makes it great for sharing!

How do I store leftovers?

This is best eaten fresh and warm from the air fryer. If you want to store this for later, make sure that you add it to an airtight container and keep it stored in the fridge.

Notes

Variations

Add toppings – I love squeezing a bit of fresh lime juice on top of the large avocados once they’re cooked. You can also add cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, or even diced red peppers and onion.
Add extra seasoning – These avocado slices would be delicious with a little bit of garlic powder or a combination of dry rubs.
