How to Serve
This air fryer general Tso chicken is easy to serve! Just plate and add some sweet sauce or tangy sauce, your choice. You can pair it with white rice or eat it just like it is.
Storage and Reheating
If you have leftovers of one of the most popular Chinese dishes, this means that you'll get to enjoy that crispy coating texture once again! Let the chicken cool down after air frying, and then add it to an airtight container. Keep it in the fridge until you eat next for 3-4 days.
Reheat leftovers at 350°F for 2-3 minutes, or until heated completely through.
FAQs
If you want to make this dish sweeter, add a tad bit of brown sugar. You can also use it in place of the white sugar, but it is going to change up the flavor and make it quite a bit sweeter.
Make sure that you have cooked chicken all the way done without overcooking it. The air fryer does a great job, but you can also verify the internal temperature using a meat thermometer. The chicken pieces should show 165 degrees F on the thermometer to be considered done and safe to eat.
I hope you love this General Tso's chicken as much as we do! It's the perfect way to get that take-out fix without leaving home.
