I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer or 6.8 quart air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cooking time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

Variations

Add beans – Black beans and pinto beans are a great addition to add lots of protein and flavor.

Add toppings – Fresh cilantro and diced jalapeno peppers are a great option to change the flavor. You can also add more shredded cheese (Monterey jack is so good!) or add pico de Gallo.

How to serve

Loaded nachos are just like they sound! Once the air fryer nacho recipe is done cooking, you pile on your toppings, and serve and enjoy!

How to store

Leftover nachos are a thing! You can easily recreate your favorite snack by storing the leftovers in the fridge. Just wrap them in a piece of aluminum foil, or put them into an airtight container once they’ve cooled down.

When it’s time to reheat this easy nachos recipe, you warm them up for a few minutes in the air fryer. Easy peasy.

FAQs

Can I use leftover taco meat to make these easy air fryer nachos?

Absolutely! That is what is great about this easy recipe. You can also use ground turkey, leftover rotisserie chicken, or even ground beef. If you want to go meatless, make air fryer cheese nachos and dig in.

How do I keep my tortilla chips crispy?

It’s all about not piling on layers of chips. The corn tortilla chips need to be in a single layer so that each portion gets cooked up perfectly. This way, the melted cheese, and all the other good stuff get heated just like they should be. As long as you don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket, you should be 100% fine!

Can I make this low carb?

If you want to make your own tortilla chips, you can do so with low-carb wraps and a little bit of olive oil. Toast them up, and then move forward with adding the rest of your toppings. Both are great options for creating delicious recipes.
