We just celebrated National French Fry Day, because who doesn't love different types of fries? I especially love the flavors of this recipe as they are just the right blend. And these fries are better than a fast-food restaurant. If you have not tried Air Fryer Seasoned French Fries, you have to try this recipe!
– 4 Russet Potatoes peeled, cut into strips – 1 tbsp olive oil – 2 tsp paprika – 1 tsp kosher salt – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 tsp onion powder – 1 tsp red pepper flakes – ½ tsp black pepper – ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
To make these fries, begin by peeling, rinsing, then patting the potatoes dry. I use a mandolin slicer, but if you don't have one, you can use a sharp knife, and cut the potatoes into strips about ¼ inch wide slices in thickness.
Next, in a medium bowl, soak the strips of potato in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes, then drain them, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Once they are dry, coat the potatoes with oil and seasonings, tossing the fries in the mixture.
Next, place the potato slices in the air fryer basket, in a single layer, and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
SERVE!
