Air Fryer Potato Wedges are crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. If you love traditional diner style potato wedges, you are going to love this homemade potato wedges recipe.
– 4 Russet Potatoes – 2 tbsp olive oil – 1 tsp paprika – 1 tsp salt – 1 tsp garlic powder – ½ tsp black pepper
To make this recipe, begin by rinsing and then cutting the potatoes into wedges, leaving the potato skin on. Then, in a medium sized bowl, let them soak in cold water for 25-30 minutes. This will remove the starch and makes them crispy potato wedges.
After they have soaked, drain water and pat dry with paper towels, then return them to the bowl. Next, coat potatoes with a tablespoon olive oil, and then the seasonings. Then, spread the seasoned potato wedges into the air fryer basket, without overlapping.
Finally, return the basket to the air fryer and cook potatoes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes. During the cooking process, shake the basket at the 10 minute mark. You can cut your potatoes into larger wedges, but then you may need to add 2-3 extra minutes for cooking time.
